Da Keane fast zeitgleich mit Oasis ein neues Album veröffentlichen, müssen sich die Jungs einiges von Noel Gallagher anhören: “Tom’s going on and on about being taken out of his comfort zone when making his new album. What the fuck does that mean?. Why would you want to be uncomfortable when making an album? No matter what direction Keane take, it doesn’t matter – they’ll still be shit.”
Tom äußerte sich dazu bei den Q Awards: “I’m not getting involved. I can’t be bothered. It’s pointless in the world of music. It’s pointless. In any other form of art, nobody does that. It’s just stupid.“
