Keane have graciously agreed to record the Elton John classic ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’ as a part of the latest Warchild benefit CD ‘Help: A Day In The Life’. The album will be released on September 9th.
Keane’s piano player Tim Rice-Oxley said they had to get involved:
“Every childhood should be a time for optimism and innocence” he said. “In many places it is instead a time of violent chaos, deprivation and fear. War Child is doing everything it can to change that, and we are proud to give them our sincere support.”
