Keane won Songwriters of the Year at the awards and Tim from the band filled us in on how their new album was coming along.
He told us he’s really pleased with how the album’s going:
“It’s great actually, he says modestly.”
“I think we feel we’ve done just over half of a sensational album and it’s just a question of pushing ourselves to write another half rather than flaking out half way through.”
Tim also told us how he felt being moved up the bill at Glastonbury:
“It’s been a surreal day all round really. This time last year we were utterly terrified of the idea of going on stage at Glastonbury at all and to be that high up the bill will be pretty crazy.”
“As ever we’ll relish the challenge if it happens.”
